R.D. INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (RDIS) gets its name from Late Rama Devi Mother of Sri Ghanshaym Yadav who is an Social Reformer and Educationist from Ramkola Dist. Kushinagar. He has agricultural properties in Ramkola including the land where this school has been established.
Rama Devi was concerned about educating the children, specially girls in the family which was quite opposite to the ideologies possessed by people born in India before independence. R.D. International School is an attempt by the founders for all round upliftment of the rural children by educating them. Ghanshyam Yadav Bhagwati Devi Charitable Trust has come into existence to achieve these objectives through this School.
The school is an English medium, co-education, C.B.S.E. Pattern institution. The school is constructed on a land of over 2"acres in the village Dharamshamdha, Ramkola, Dist. Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh and is situated on 200 Metre far from Dharamshamdha Temple on Ramkola to Padrauna Road.
